Goyito, affectionately known as Gregorio, was born with a rare physical condition that prevents him from walking. His legs cannot support his body, and his twisted arms make even the simplest movements painful and exhausting.

Despite these challenges, Goyito wakes up every single day determined to work instead of giving up. He crawls across the ground collecting recyclable materials so he can earn enough to survive.

He doesn't ask for pity or handouts. He works with courage, perseverance, and gratitude, making the most of what life has given him.

After losing his father, Goyito became the sole caregiver for his mother. Every dollar he earns helps provide food, medicine, and the essentials they need to keep going.

Crawling across rough ground every day exposes Goyito to constant pain, open wounds, infections, and permanent damage to his body. Even so, he continues because his mother depends entirely on him.
